Susie Sweet Cheeks hit the Burly stage for the first time at the age of 59, having rallied every last bit of joie de vivre left in her retired-ass body. She looked to her childhood to reconnect to the passion she felt for dance and classic strip tease and decided that she was going to try her hand at being a show girl... maybe just once. Since 2016 she has performed at many International festivals across Canada, including Vancouver, Nelson, Quesnel, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal Bagel Burlesque and the Mobile Burlesque Festival, in Alabama. Susie is a performer with Brixxhouse Arts and Entertainment, and April O’Peel Productions. She relishes the opportunity to tantalize her audiences and also has a passion to inspire and incite other aging women to continue to embrace, their sensual, seductive and slutty side, no matter what age.
Susie has been compared to a short glass of White Lightening Bourbon, for the kick it delivers when consumed, and the unmistakeable tang of the midwestern soil, where Sweet Cheeks sowed her wild oats.
